Job Description

Ltd. is a mining and manufacturing company located 60 kilometers Northeast of Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. Employees reside in Lac du Bonnet, Pinawa and the surrounding area. Responsibilities
  • Receives instruction from the supervisor. Communicates with outgoing or incoming operator regarding the state of the plant – reviews shift reports or other job-related information.
  • Starts up and shuts down multiple circuits in proper sequence and safe manner.
  • Observes plant instrumentation, material appearance and to maintain steady operation.
  • Checks for overheating, excessive noise, wear or obvious malfunction. Reports more serious defects to supervisor.
  • Records data relevant to the job as per log sheets.
  • Keeps working areas, tools and equipment in a safe, clean, and tidy condition.
Education
  • Minimum Grade 12 (required)
Certification/Skills
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Work well with others.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift, bend, twist in performing the functions.
  • Frequent walking and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to moderate noise and odors.
