There will always be a chance for you to learn and try something new.This is your invitation to rise above what was possible yesterday.Job posting end date: 10/31/2022To manage all MOIT End User Engagement related activities and services delivered to Canada region not limited to additional responsibilities such as IT Operations, Support Services, Infrastructure, Network, Projects, and IT Security.Lead and manage the End User Engagement services and Infrastructure for all MO sites in Canada and make sure satisfaction of all stakeholders.Assist Canada IT Management with Operations, Support, Applications, Information Security and Service management.Assist IT Management in all subsequent scope of work assigned not limiting to the above role description.Job ResponsiblitiesEnd User Engagement:Evaluate and create solution proposals for business demand and requests.Responsible for IT standards in Canada, Device Management and other IT related item or acquisition definitions.Manage and deploying Change Requests.Manage local Projects.Support and act in global Projects/Activities.Provide reporting to Regional IT teams.Manage 3rd parties involved in EUE Processes.End User communication/ material translation/ training related to EUE subjects.Advanced troubleshooting of the services together with the vendors providing the services.Asset ManagementCoordination with regional IT resources for local service delivery.Responsible in Canada for EUE tools/services:AD, Office 365, SharePoint, Access Management, Asset Management, Computer Definitions, OneDrive for Business, SCCM, Imaging, Licensing, GPO, BitLocker, ServiceNow, Intranet, Windows Defender, Videoconferencing, Intune, MFA, Microsoft: ATA and ATP, PPM, Avenue, Azure, Regional and Global IT Policies and Procedures.Infrastructure:Evaluate current network infrastructure and create proposals to enhance and get it always updated according global IT guidance. It includes MO offices and sites inside customer mines.Involved in new IT demands: Business Requests, Pre-projects, Ongoing Projects, Activities, Project Meetings, General Definitions.Constantly analyzing new and modern technologies.Support any Regional Infrastructure subjects/issues/requests.Infra process definition, development of standards, documentation.Support system developers with Infra doubt/issues.Managing 3rd parties involved in Infra Processes.Actively involved in Server and Telecom troubleshooting/Diagnostics in daily basis and critical scenarios.Any other work defined important by team leaders or local IT manager.Able to support:Windows Servers, Cloud Computing Services, DHCP, Infra RFC, CMDB, File/Print Servers, SQL, TFS, Web Server (IIS), Application Server, Azure, Legacy applications, NPM Orion, Network Monitoring and troubleshoot.IT Operations:Directly supporting local IT Management, filtering, and dispatching demands to IT/Vendors.Support IT area in for various subjects.Local Process/Policy definition and Standards.Fully supporting IT in crisis, providing quick diagnostic, troubleshoot and communication to end-users.Projects Committee member.Local system support team processes, QA, ITIL and best practices.IT Communications contact to translate IT Material/Trainings to Spanish.Taking part in architecture development of the local IT services.Support Services:Daily and deeply involved in TCS service management.Ensure that support services are being delivered according to Business expectations.Taking decisions for issues where TCS needs guidance or have cost involved or is out scope, etc.Supporting and guiding TCS thru subjects they don’t know how to support. Acting as last mile from support teams.Responsible to check every TCS quoted IT item or peripheral to ensure the service quality in Purchasing Process.Actively involved in TCS service management, participating in weekly meetings, reviewing the operation, numbers, age of tickets, points to improve, reporting deviations, behavior, etc.Review of every ticket older than thirty days, check the actions, push TCS management, to accomplish the SLAs and suggesting solutions/workarounds.Escalating relevant subjects, pushing for follow-ups and proper answers.Work on support process improvements.Supporting critical cases/tickets focused in troubleshoot the issue to Metso Outotec Business.Responsible to validate User, Computer, Mobile count to TCS Charge.Actively in contact with TCS management.Engaging, encouraging, and guiding end-users to use TCS support services.VIP support when requested by IT Manager.Information Security and Audit:Local Information Security contact for global team.Support Information Security Global Team for any related subject.Local responsible for Information Security policies, procedures, auditContact person for Business for Information Security cases.Making sure IT Security guidelines are implemented and being followedMaking sure Audit requirements are implement and being followed, it includes Compliance Audit (Global), Risk Management Audit (Global), ISO Audit (Internal)Requirements:Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.Minimum of 10 years related experience in managing and coordinating various IT infrastructure services with multi vendors and demanding business stakeholders.Strong fundamentals in ITIL, IT service management, vendor management.Strong technical and management skills.Good Interpersonal, communication skills and team player.Willing to learn, adapt to the company culture, changes and having the right attitude.Added advantage if experience in user computing products and device management, end user support, Microsoft platform, O365, Cloud Computing, end user security, end user virtualization platforms or Microsoft related certifications.Strong fundamentals in project managementEnglish and Spanish are mandatory, Portuguese is a plusAvailability to frequent travels (once a month) mainly inside Canada (national travels) to visit MO sites and sites inside customer mines to audit IT infrastructure and services.Availability to work outside business hour in case of critical business needs.We OfferFriendly, respectful environmentChallenging opportunities that contribute to the development and enhancement of Metso Outotecs industry-leading solutionsOpportunity to work in a global communityPride in working for an industry leader in mining, aggregates, recycling, and oil and gas (one of the top employers in Finland!)Competitive healthcare options, 401K matching, flexible work schedules, tuition reimbursement, and much more!Metso Outotec is a frontrunner in sustainable technologies, end-to-end solutions and services for the aggregates, minerals processing, metals refining and recycling industries globally.
