Job Description

Central Alberta Co-op is here to serve our members and customers with products and services that help build, feed, and fuel individuals and communities. We live where you live, work where you work and help grow the economy right here.Our Lacombe Food Store is looking for two casual Clerk Cashiers to join our team.Casual: less than 24 hours/week.Availability requirements: Weekdays from 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm, and weekend mornings (8:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 9:30 PM).Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and respond to customer questions,
  • Accurately process sale transactions,
  • Bag and assist with carrying out purchases,
  • Display merchandise,
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Attention to detail and quality,
  • Exceptional customer service skills,
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Ability to work independently and in a team,
  • Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
  • Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
