Job Description

Job DescriptionFairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager for their Colleague Restaurant – The Bean. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Foodamp; Beverage, this position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of The Bean, which is one of the busiest outlets in our hotel; serving our 600+ colleagues breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. This position is ideal for the individual who aspires to reach the next level in their career as a department head of a highly impactful operation with multiple stakeholders and high visibility in the hotel. Let’s take your career to new heights!Pay Rate: $65,000 – $70,000 Job Duties Include:

  • Champion the overall offering and commitment to excellence of The Bean and work with key stakeholders including the General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Food and Beverage, Lifestyles Manager, Executive Chef, and Director of Talent and Culture to deliver on providing an exceptional experience to our most valued guests: our colleagues.
  • Enhance the leadership skills of the additional leaders in the Outlet. This includes the development of decision-making skills, performance management techniques, function planning ability, process mapping and analysis, and sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Participate in the budgeting process of the department by establishing clear and precise priorities for operational and renovation capital expenditures.
  • Critically assess procedures, policies, and methods of operation and alter them where necessary.
