Job Description

Experienced Journeyman/woman Carpenter with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our team. Must be reliable, hardworking and pay close attention to detail. Must have own reliable transportation to get to and from jobsites. We offer competitive wages, company events, etc. Wage based on skills and experience.Responsibilities

  • Acts as site manager, supervising team members and sub-contractors
  • Performs skilled carpentry in the construction, renovation and maintenance of residential and commercial buildings
  • Ensures building codes, health and safety standards, etc. are being followed
  • Delegates tasks for teams and maintains jobsite schedules
  • Provides feedback to Managers/Owners ensuring quality and safety standards are being met
  • Ability to operate hand tools and other power tools
  • Interprets plans, blueprints, timelines, drawings, etc.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory 5+ years experience in residential construction and renovations.
  • Proven experience as a site manager/team lead/supervisor
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Knowledge of Building Code and Standards
  • Must have a solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling
  • Safe operation of tools and machinery
  • Must have a valid G-License with a clean driving record
  • Boating license, preferred
  • Valid Working at Heights, WHMIS, preferred
  • CPR and First Aid is an asset
