  • Monthly health and safety meetings, safe talks, taking minutes. (With visual support from supervisors)
  • Health and safety inspections, delegation for weekly checklist and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Printing blank forms, HSE labels, etc.
  • Production statistics. - Pulling data from logbooks to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Audit action items.
  • Maintaining training records for new staff, setting up Teams for form sign offs for new hires, and for updated documents.
  • G6 data transfer to test schemes.
  • Scanning paperwork.
  • Organizing pending lists and printing group work orders.
  • Ordering supplies
  • Assisting with shift schedules and timecard approvals
  • Assisting with CAPA’s
  • Entering BBO’s
  • Scanning paperwork to SharePoint for all lockers
  • Entering documents like proficiency forms and following up with people to fill them out
  • Making sure people sign off on new methods and following up with employees when necessary
  • Putting in work orders for maintenance
  • Risk assessments - would need to work with an employee who does the task
  • Making sure instrument checks and actions are recorded in CCLAS or logbooks are up to date
  • Maintain training skill matrix, equipment list, quality system documents list, certificate inventory, and others as required
  • Manages Supplier Approval Program.
  • Responsible for ordering and receiving of technical/chemical supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
QualificationsSpecific technical skills:
  • Knowledge of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good management practices (GMP) would be an asset.
  • Computer literate: candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
  • Ability to work well with others & independently.
  • Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
  • Ensures full compliance with the company’s Health & Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
Education
  • A post-secondary education diploma in a Science related program.
Experience
  • 1 – 3 years related experience.
