Job Description

CSN Keizer’s is a leading autobody shop specializing in high-quality bodywork and automotive services. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and industry-leading standards in vehicle repair and customization. CSN Keizer’s is the premier auto body shop in Sackville, Nova Scotia. Since our inception, we have been committed to providing residents with high-quality vehicle repairs, and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.Position Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)- Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations. You will be responsible for managing financial strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the overall financial health and sustainability of the business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, analyzing variances and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial resources for liquidity and operational efficiency.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and evaluate cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance/accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
RequirementsPlease note that this is initially a part-time, hybrid role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Must be CPA certified
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industry or related field.
  • Experience in commercial and residential property management industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online and Desktop, SAP, Body Shop Connect or Oracle).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to drive financial performance and optimize operational efficiencies.
