Lanark County’s – Lanark Lodge, “People Caring for People”, is a 163 bed Long TermCare Home accredited with Accreditation Canada that strives to provide progressiveresident centered care for our residents in an atmosphere of respect that fostersindependence and fulfillment. We are currently recruiting for the following regular fulltime position commencing as soon as possible.REGULAR FULL TIMEMAINTENANCE PERSON(Posting #LL2022-318)MANDATE:Responsible for the daily functions and operations associated with maintaining thefacilities and services of the facility.QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 12 and minimum 2 year Department of Labour Trades Certificate or Grade 12and a minimum 5 years’ experience as deemed an equivalency through the OntarioColleges of Trades, along with two years’ experience in maintenance at a similar sizedfacility. Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills with exceptionalorganizational and leadership ability. Must have a proficient knowledge of the Englishlanguage. Proven ability to trouble shoot, read and interpret architectural, electrical andmechanical schematics/drawings. Proficient computer skills as well as previousexperience with computerized preventative maintenance systems is an asset. Mustmeet job demands, physical and cognitive.The salary is $25.33 to $26.90 hourly, as per the 2022 Salary Grid of the C.U.P.ECollective Agreement.
