This multi-tasked position will gain exposure to most aspects of accounting in a not-for-profit environment, including regulatory compliance and audit. The Accounting Clerk Co-op Student is assigned work as required based on changing business needs and priorities. The Accounting Clerk Co-op Student will be provided an overview of every department at M’akola to gain a fundamental understanding of how they are all linked together in an effort to provide affordable housing to Indigenous communities. The student will receive extensive training in accounting to be able to complete the responsibilities listed below.This position is a temporary, 4-month term from Monday – Friday, 35 hours/week based out of the Victoria regional office in Langford, beginning in January 2023 with possibility of extension.Responsibilities
