Job Description

Summary:Victorias Blossoms is seeking a highly-motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team. We are seeking a passionate person in the transportation industry to create new businesses around the supply chain of perishable foods, good practices of distribution, health and safety process, and a sustainable vision.The Business Development Manager must contribute to the relationship of new clients portfolios to increase the company’s sales. Must be a responsible, reliable person with leadership in good customer service.Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Analyze the refrigerated transport market in the province in order to identify business creation opportunities
  • Schedule and visit with potential clients to start new business relationships.
  • Create, develop and offer transport services according to market needs.
  • Analyze costs to offer competitive rates in the market.
  • Consider occupational safety and health processes in all-new transportation services offered.
  • Consider concepts of sustainability in the creation of new businesses.
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience through all interactions.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Participate in continuous training opportunities to build leadership skills.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet industry and operations.
  • Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, and/or managerial experience or relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Management is required.
  • Post-degree diploma in management is considered an asset.
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in high-impact presentations.
  • Driver license is required.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $34,166.19-$60,000.00 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift

  • Langford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
