Job Description

Trail Appliances is the leading independent appliance retailer in Western Canada. With 11 showrooms, a Clearance Centre, and offices in Richmond, Vancouver, Annacis Island, and Cloverdale, we’re a fast-growing company with over 500 employees in British Columbia.The Delivery Driver is an integral part of our delivery team responsible for operating 5 ton trucks and delivering home appliances to our customers homes in a timely and professional manner. The delivery driver works with the delivery assistant(s) to safely transport our products from our warehouse to our customers homes while providing superstar customer service, assisting with problem resolution, and accepting product returns as required.As a Delivery Driver, you will...

    • Load and unload large home appliances to and from 5 ton trucks
    • Perform the pre-trip check-up on the truck and follow safety procedures
    • Provide safe delivery of our products into the customers home
    • Work as a team with the delivery driver or assistant when moving the appliances into the customers home
    • Act as a representative of Trail Appliances every step of the delivery process

The experience we need...
    • 1-2 years experience with deliveries
    • Valid Class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract
    • Experience operating 5 ton truck or equivalent preferred, but not required
    • Ability (physical and health) to consistently lift and move large and heavy items
    • Great customer service skills and friendly demeanor
    • Dedicated team player
    • Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
Compensation
    • $22.57/ph PLUS $1.79 bonus
