We are a contracted service provider for Fedex Ground and we are hiring individuals to assist in our early morning sort/dispatch.Duties:Package Handlers are responsible for the physical loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of varying sizes and weight by hand, including lifting and placing packages in designated areas and assisting with all aspects of the morning dispatch.Working as a Package Handler: Be conscientious: carefully unload parcels.Be well organized: sort and distribute accurately based on postal code/route designation.Work in collaboration with a team: place packages in determined areas for the delivery team.Be efficient: maintain the package/hour sorting ratio.Ideal Candidate: Is in good physical condition with the ability to work in a fast paced environmentOwn a vehicle or is able to arrive at the delivery center early in the morning.Is able to understand directives and to communicate well in English.Has experience in warehouse or in a similar environment.Retired or have a part-time job great opportunity to earn supplemental income as the position is early morning from 5:30am-7:30amNote: Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check to be considered for the position.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 12-14 per weekSalary: $20.00 per hourSchedule:
