Job Description

Reports To: General Manager or Owner"A mind built for excellence. A spirit built for service." What does a Restoration Estimator (RE) with Paul Davis do

  • Build estimates from established scopes of work.
  • Utilize photographs, diagrams and notes in building the estimates.
  • Identify areas for increasing revenue.
  • Communicate with clients and adjusters about the scope of work and the estimates.
  • Liaise with our Project Managers, Project Manager Assistants, Coordinators and Technicians daily.

Restoration Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RE, you will be relied upon to write estimates and ensure completeness of the scope of work.Why The Team Needs YouServing others in their time of need is not easy. Team Qualifications (Requirements):
  • Ability to clearly deliver truth and give certainty when property owners need it most
  • Proficient with variety of current technology including Xactimate, Xactanalysis, Nextgear, Symbility
  • Previous restoration experience is beneficial
  • Career emphasis on learning and continuing education
  • Sound planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
Previous estimating experience (ex. Xactimate) is valuable. Industry certifications, including IICRC and Lead preferred. If limited experience but you meet all qualifications, we will invest in your training. Role on the Team (Job Functions):
  • Clearly communicate expectations with project manager and adjuster
  • Profitably scope estimates
  • Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements
  • Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPAs
  • Seek partnerships to improve performance of the team
