Job Description

We are Woodlock Developments, a family business with over 25 years of combined experience in construction, real estate, and developing new projects in Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver. Our focus is to provide exceptional customer service to our existing and potential customers.If you are highly organized, able to exist in a team-oriented environment, seeking a challenge and love working with a motivated team this could be the job for you.Responsibilities and DutiesKey Responsibilities:

  • Provides a professional, positive, and energetic first point of contact for current and potential consultants, clients, and contractors
  • Takes leadership in evolving the administrative systems to enhance efficiency, service, and sales
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software
  • Provides intermediate to senior level direct administrative support to Wood Lock’s Executives
Primary Duties:
  • Manages calendar, plans and arranges meetings and travel arrangements for executive members.
  • Manages email inbox along with inquiries.
  • Schedule, participate in and at times lead meetings
  • Maintain registration with real estate related associations
  • Assist with creative and branding for construction projects
Qualifications and SkillsJob Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional email writing skills
  • 2 years of experience in banking, real estate, law, administration or executive assistant roles
  • Intermediate ability in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive) as well as Gmail
  • High comfort level / aptitude for learning new technology
Personal Qualifications:
  • Highly organized with the ability to get and keep others organized.
  • Excellent time management skills; attention to detail; the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency.
  • Ability to develop a work schedule, set goals, create / implement action plans and monitor progress towards goals; and ability to make clear, timely decisions.
  • A love of people and a passion for great service (both to the Wood Lock Team and clients).
  • Able to anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of Executives and other professionals to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Self-motivated with a knack for fostering a team mentality in others.
  • Works cooperatively with the team to set goals, resolve problems, and enhance organizational effectiveness and results.
