Job Description

Apex Aluminum Extrusions Ltd. is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory with a 170,000 square foot facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry. We believe in the ongoing investment and development of our processes and people. WHAT WE OFFER YOU:

A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:
  • Ensuring the quality of the job is up to company standards and customer requirements
  • Maintaining a clean work environment including the work area and equipment
  • Packaging coated products for shipping.
  • Inventory tracking.
  • Assist in other parts of the plant including loading/unloading as required.
  • Safely and efficiently move and lift heavy material loads using forklift and/or pallet jack
  • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment (i.e. adding hydraulic fluid if necessary)
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
  • Other duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
  • Should at least have 6+ months of Forklift experience.
  • Position requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Warehouse distribution experience.
  • Strive for excellence in regard to the organization and the layout of the warehouse.
