Job Description

We are looking for an energetic independent and motivated individual to join our team as a full time Scale/Floor Coordinator. As a Scale/Floor Coordinator, you are responsible to ensure that the Transfer station site is operating in a neat, tidy and cost effective manner.This Job involves sitting in the control room, and inspecting/coordinating general Operations.Key Responsibilities: -· Direct all users to proper dumping areas· Keep all areas of the Transfer station site clean and well maintained· Keep all buildings clean and well maintained· Assist in transferring or disposing of waste as required· Sort recyclables as required· Assisting customers with their questions about their waste/recycling· Directing customers with the disposal of their waste/recyclingKnowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Landfill/ Transfer Station experience is an asset
  • Class 5 Drivers License
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift at least 30lbs
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
