The Material Handler ensures all resins and dyes mixed or handled are the correct part number and or product for the desired application. The Material Handler practices safe and careful handling habits of all plant tools and equipment, for example, loaders, dryers, mixers, grinders, small hand tools, etc; and always ensuring to return item to it’s proper place.ResponsibilitiesListen and follow the direction of the plant supervisorsNotify maintenance of any worn or broken equipmentEnsure proper storage and labeling of all resins, dyes and additives whether just received in-house or drained from a hopperFollow work order instructions carefully as to proper part numbers, quantities and percentages required in bill of materials for each jobEnsure accurate and timely recording of data on all material sheets and promptly forward onEnsure materials are available and ready in order to reduce start up timeFrequently do grinder checks to ensure proper granulating function and empty when neededFrequently do hopper checks to ensure machines do not run out of resin prior to job finishingEnsuRequirementsGood reading and writing skills essentialGood communication skills essentialGood mathematical skills essentialPrevious forklift experience desirableLifting materials (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the dayWhat CRH Americas Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRH AmericasCRH Americas has a long and proud heritage as one of North America’s largest corporations.
