Job Description

Mixer- Full-Time Seasonal (Nights)(With potential for full time permanent employment)WAGE: $16.25 / hour plus $1.00 night shift premium (Applicable from 9 pm -6 am), wage increases after 6 months.SHIFT: Night from 7:30pm - 3:30am (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)LOCATION: 5345 275 St, Langley, BC, must have own transportation, there is no Public transportation in the area. Our mixers are an integral part of producing our well-known baked products, scaling and mixing ingredients according to our beloved recipes.We are not just a job, we are an extended family, committed to elevating everyday moments and feeding communities and families across the country.   • Scale all ingredients according to recipes.
  • Cut, weigh, scale, measure and place dough in bins/mixing bowls
  • Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence.
  • Monitor and maintain the correct size, color and weight of various products as set out by our recipe specifications
  • Troubleshoot dough, adding ingredients to ensure the quality expectations are being met and taking into account the variables such as ingredients, temperature
  • Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use. Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs.
About You:
  • A lover of bread and baked goods!
  • You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
  • You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
  • You have previous baking experience, and ideally some knowledge of SAP
  • You are comfortable lifting 30-50 pounds to move our ingredient packages and cases
  • Like working in a fast-paced environment, be self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career
  • Solid mathematical skills to help bring our recipes to life in the bakery
  • You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
