Job Description

Administrative Operations Manager-Onsite in our Langley office.BWI Business World, a 27 year old fast-paced business in the liquor industry is actively seeking an ambitious, positive and experienced Administrational Operations Manager to organize, streamline, and run the day to day operations of our company.Besides improving our administrational infrastructure, you will be doing general bookkeeping, overseeing our inventory control and logistics systems, and bringing in fresh new ideas with your business education and experience in a supply chain industry.With our small in-house team of seven that you will be working with in our Langley office, and our numerous vendors, freight companies and regular customers, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by growing our team and improving our companies sales, revenue and efficiency.Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Overseeing, organizing and creating updated operating systems for our inventory control, administration and distribution channels.
  • Understanding the flow of inventory starting from the manufacturing and importing levels, to the sales, marketing and distribution levels.
  • Ensuring that work is performed efficiently, economically and in a timely manner by all departments.
  • Incorporate QuickBooks/QuickBooks Enterprise with our ecommerce network for seamless inventory and sales systems.
  • Be a team player that is willing to go where you are needed to improve all areas of the business as our small team will welcome you to make improvements throughout.
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • 5 + years of experience in administrative operations and inventory control.
  • A completed Canadian bachelors or masters degree in business administration, business management, economics, and/or supply chain management. (MBA preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of the supply chain flow starting from importing and sales to warehousing and distribution as we use multiple forwarders, suppliers and freight companies.
  • An understanding of sales and purchasing, preferably in the liquor and hospitality industries. Digital advertising and branding experience as well as Constant Contact and/or Mail Chimp experience are assets but not necessary.
  • Strong MS Office and math skills (including MS Word, Excel) as well as experience with QuickBooks and backend E-commerce websites.
  • The drive and determination to improve our organizations sales and profit margins and to build and improve the structure of our growing team.
  • The desire to continue learning and growing within your career and to take courses and research as required.
The successful candidate will:
  • Have strong business, finance and mathematics skills.
  • Interact with our numerous vendors, transport and shipping companies and help to organize and create new systems to streamline importing organization.
  • Work inside our Langley office (NO Remote working) making improvements to our infrastructure and administrative procedures.
  • Oversee the basic bookkeeping/administration on a daily basis using QuickBooks. You will report and interact with our accountant and other professionals in our network.
  • Have perfect written and spoken English.
  • Have a great attitude, be a great multitasker and be willing to go where needed when needed.
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:
