If your goal is to work in a fast-paced environment that is always interesting and dynamic, apply today!Job ResponsibilitiesThe Press Operator reports to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for:· Reviewing Job OrdersEach job order differs, requiring press the operator to remove or install different parts and supplies; reviews each job order in advance and adjust as needed; aligns to specifications of proofing, ticketing, colors, quantity, and quality control standards.· Installing or Removing Parts and SuppliesThe press operator installs or removes parts and supplies, such as rollers, type, printing plates, screens, stencils, dies, and cylinders, according to specification tasks; loads, positions, and adjusts materials to be printed; works in conjunction with the material handler for supply staging.· Cleaning the Printing PressThe operator ensures the press continues to work properly, responsible for press cleaning procedures; this involves the use of various solvents, dry-ice blasting, or other cleaning materials as specified by the employer.· Monitoring ProductionThe press operator consistently monitors production runs to ensure quality, performs necessary press adjustments to registration or color, monitors production to ensure scheduled expectation.· Performing Preventative MaintenanceThe press operator performs daily press maintenance and reports preventative maintenance, request to Supervisor and maintenance; this includes large, small repairs and components replacements.· Troubleshooting Equipment IssuesThe press operator endeavors to understand well the press to effectively troubleshoot the presented issues, follows documented preventative best practices and safety guidelines.Qualifications: · Basic math skills | Ability to lift to 50 pounds without assistance on a frequent basis.· Strong attention to detail | Effective interpersonal skills | Able to distinguish colors.· Excellent English verbal & writing communication skills | Excellent time management.· Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools |Production and processing knowledge.Preferred: · 2+ years experiences in narrow & wide web printing | Excellent attendance.· Able to work shift work or Over-Time when required | Able to stand for extended periods.· Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision | Customer service and safety focused.· Organized | Accurate | Efficient | Team player | Reliable | Personal accountability.· Flexible | Continuous improvement mind-set | Growth mind-set.Schedule: · Monday – Friday – 6:00am-2:30pm (Over Time as Required).· Current Opportunity: 4 Opened Positions.Benefits: · Dental Insurance.· Health Insurance.· RRSP Matching Programs.· Company Service Bonus Plan.· Paid Time Off.Location: · 9703 - 199A St, Langley City, BC V1M 2X7, Canada | www.fastik.comJob Types: Full-time, PermanentAdditional pay:
