Job Description

Job ID: 399159[[FLSAStatus]]Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions (OES), a CRH company, has united the Carson®, Christy®, and Synertech® brands to form the largest manufacturer of plastic, polymer, and concrete utility enclosure products serving the municipal water, irrigation, electric, communications, and transportation markets. OES has 11 manufacturing and distribution centers strategically located across the U.S. and Canada.Oldcastle Infrastructure - Built For Life from Oldcastle Infrastructure on Vimeo.The Production Manager will be responsible for all production operations and resources to manufacture products that meet or exceed our customer expectations. Drives productivity, continual improvement, safety, quality and on-time-delivery.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure manufacturing floor is in compliance with health and safety regulations;
  • Ensure quality standards are being met in all areas of the production process;
  • Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale;
  • Develop, implement and oversee all production systems, procedures and staffing;
  • Coordinate with other teams to implement strategies and cross-training efforts;
  • Partner with Maintenance team to ensure equipment is being regularly maintained for safe and efficient operations;
  • Lead by example in manufacturing areas; working with production staff, to determine training needs and process improvements;
  • Manage production scheduling for maximum workforce efficiency and on time delivery;
  • Establish and manage production budget, Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures where possible;
  • Develop and follow standard operating procedures in compliance with regulatory and company requirements;
  • Establish, monitor and track KPIs, reporting overall performance against plan to upper management;
  • Assist in staff planning, hiring, and onboarding;
  • Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports;
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma knowledge
  • Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing will be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with a group of cross functional stakeholders
  • College Diploma, or equivalent experience
