We currently have an opening for a Full-time Submission List Assistant (which is an entry level office position).Duties:Review and assign incoming risks to the appropriate U/W based on risk typeEntering application dataAssigning direct to underwriter submission as instructed by the underwriterManage and assign submissions in the submission list. Submissions (and correspondence) are emailed via brokers or internal employees to various email addressesAssign risks to U/W’s, forward correspondence to appropriate departmentsInteract with UW regarding risk types with markets or without (declines) as requiredRequest creation of new broker codesMaintenance of originating submission inboxManaging & tracking volumes & timelines in assessing and assigning risksMinimum Job Qualifications & Personal Attributes: A strong work ethic, good organizational skills and the ability to work within a remote team environment Strong writing/language, and people skills High attention to detail Interest in being involved with community outreach and company culture Well-developed typing skills, understanding of Microsoft Word/Outlook Driven attitude & the ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines Positive & professional communication skills High School diplomaRequired education: High school or equivalentPreferred: strong experience with ExcelWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
