• This is a Full-Time role, Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts starting between 6:00am – 8:00am
• Wages are based on experience
• Previous experience is not required, we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude towards learning the business
• All specialty training provided - (Cranes, Forklifts, OFA, CNC Operators and much more)
• Must have reliable transportation – Not located near public transit

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Become part of the team by communicating positively with lead-hand, co-workers, and supervisor
• Ensure equipment is in safe operating condition
• Encompass best practices in all aspects of safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to all corporate safety policies while operating company machinery
• Unloading glass will require crane operation and/or manual lifting
• Measure tempered glass for accuracy and quality; reject if incorrect and advise operator accordingly to uphold quality standards
• Adhere tags to completed glass and place on distribution dolly based on tag location requirements
• Select the appropriate tagged glass and load onto dolly by size and dimension to ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
• Use appropriate glass separators for glass type to maintain quality control
• Communicate dolly completion and move throughout the plant as required
• Responsible for proper disposal of broken glass and general housekeeping within the department
• Sort and off load glass and the end of the tempering line
• Ensure dimensions and all specifications have been met
• Operate a crane as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout their shift and a maximum of 75 lbs on occasion with assistance
• Enjoys working in a team-based environment with a positive attitude
• Multitasking capabilities and responsive to changing priorities
• Must have reliable transportation **located in Gloucester Industrial Park**
• Basic understanding of English
