Job Description

Work with the farmer, becoming one of their trusted advisors. Our client is focused on protecting the Western Canadian farmer; understand their personal business scenario, risk management needs, and insurance goals. Develop strong business relationships with the Advisors, Producers, and various agribusiness (Ag Lenders, CPA’s, Insurance Agents, Ag Retailers) professionals.NOTE: Anyone who can legally work in Canada can apply for this job.   • An agribusiness sales background (finance / crop inputs /consulting agronomy) with an established network of key producers within a 100 mile radius of your home
  • Interest and ability to achieve CAIB certification quickly upon hire
  • Desire to be a go-to advisor, not just a salesperson
What would you be doing As their Ag Risk Advisor, you will work directly with individual farmers to create a proactive, formalized process to identify financial risks, determine what risks are important to address, and then implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
