What you will do:

  • Work with operators/mining machine to observe, capture and understand activities and workflows to assist in optimizing mining sequence and related tasks
  • Interface with operators, maintenance trades people, engineers and supervisors to accurately collect operating and downtime information
  • Synthesize mining knowledge and best practices across Nutrien Potash production sites into a report
What you will bring:
  • Must be currently enrolled and completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate engineering, geology, applied science and/or business operations program (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Ability to work 24/7 shift work - 12 hour rotations both days and nights
  • Demonstrated positive safety behaviour and safety leadership
  • Willingness to learn and gain knowledge and experience through training and interaction with Nutrien personnel
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder relationship skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with rigorous attention to detail and record keeping
