Job Description

Humboldt Co-op is hiring a Assistant Food Manager at our Lanigan Store in Lanigan, Saskatchewan reporting to the Food Division Manager.Who we are:Co-op does business differently.   • You will provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of financial results, budget objectives for sales, margins, expenses, and profitability for our Lanigan location.
  • You will ensure standards for marketing, merchandising, talent management, health and safety within the Lanigan location are met.
  • You will maintain inventory controls, image and fixed assets and perform administrative responsibilities.
  • You will develop and promote a culture of engagement with the department and co-operative.
  • You will model the way of demonstrating day-to-day behaviours and actions that align and strengthen the Co-operatives vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
  • You will build and maintain relationships with our internal & external customers and team members in order to provide high quality customer experiences.

  • You have a Grade 12 education.
  • You possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have 1-2 years leadership or management experience in a retail environment; experience within the Co-op Retailing System would be an asset.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
