What you will doWe have an exciting opportunity to join our Shipping/Receiving Team as we are actively recruiting for a Shipper/Receiver responsible for supporting our Production, Materials, and Logistics Departments in a fast-paced organization. Duties consist of unloading and loading trucks, while maintaining documentation on incoming and outgoing shipments.   • Material handling, including lift truck, pump cart, crane
  • Receiving shipments, verifying counts
  • Shipping, including securing loads
  • Documentation preparation as required
  • Interaction with supplier truck drivers
  • Maintain Shipping and Receiving stock area
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
  • A Secondary School Diploma
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Computer knowledge required
  • Experience with inventory management and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in material handling, receiving, inventory control, and shipping an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Fork Lift license an asset
