Job Description

Job DescriptionPosition DescriptionAs Financial Senior Director FP amp;A at CIMA+, your main responsibility will be to work closely with and develop strategic partnerships with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and ensure the company #39;s competitiveness.This position is preferably based in Laval, with Montreal as a possible alternative location.Main ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and evaluate profitability analyses for new projects and initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strategic Plan:
    • Participate in the development and implementation of the company’s overall strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and process improvement.
  • Work closely with senior management to act as a trusted advisor and contribute to strategic things.
  • Review financial results, identify variances from forecasts, and recommend corrective actions based on performance indicators.
  • Develop tracking tools to evaluate performance, anticipate opportunities, and manage risks using reliable date.
  • Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions:
    • Implement BI tools to enhance data analysis.
    • Train and support teams in using BI tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and the success of cross-functional projects.
