Job Description

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Project Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will provide support to managers in financial monitoring and project invoicing activities.We offer a flexible hybrid work mode that lets you work from home and from one of our Quebec offices.Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain the financial health of a project portfolio.
  • Ensure accurate recording of monthly income.
  • Closely support the billing specialist in the monthly billing process.
  • Actively contribute to the improvement of Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO) by working with all stakeholders (Project Managers, accounts receivable, clients, etc.).
  • Validate all financial controls put in place to minimize errors and maximize efficiency (rate sheets, resource allocation, precise work breakdown structure), during the project opening process.
  • Meet with Project Managers to monitor project finances.
  • Review all contracts to ensure accuracy of revenue recognition.
  • Establish and maintain a relationship of trust with our internal and external customers.
  • Keep project information up to date (budgets, amendments, rates, etc.).
  • Understand and ensure compliance with CIMA+ internal control rules.
