Job Description

Job Title: Delivery DriverLocation: 5014 50 Ave. Leduc, ABWage: Dependent on experienceEmployment Type: Full-TimeABOUT WATER and ICE Co.Water and Ice Co. is a fast-growing bottled water and bagged ice manufacture based out of Leduc, AB. We run a local store front while delivering water and ice to Leduc, Edmonton, Onoway, Wetaskiwin, Beaumont, Devon and other towns.Position OverviewThe Driver is the primary person responsible for delivery of product to customers, transport of goods from vendors as needed, and transport of goods between work locations. The Driver is also responsible for the care and operation of Water and Ice Co. vehicles to fulfill the daily delivery requirements.General Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of company vehicles for the purpose of transporting goods
  • Loading and unloading of product from vehicles to and from assigned locations
  • Completion of delivery routes assigned daily
  • Completion of daily logbooks of vehicle activity
  • Inventory tracking of delivered and received items
  • Tracking of completed duties in the company tracking software
  • Inspection of vehicles to ensure safe operating condition prior to each trip ·
  • Care and cleaning of company vehicles
  • Assisting production staff with manufacturing as needed
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications
  • Prior delivery experience an asset
  • Clean class 5 driving license
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking and asset tracking
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds repeatedly
  • Familiarity with the greater Edmonton Municipal area, including surrounding towns/villages
  • Comfortable driving large commercial vans
  • Responsive problem-solving pertaining to route changes and requirement ·
  • Clear and legible writing
  • Professional attitude
