Job Description

Job OverviewWe are looking to hire an upbeat front desk agent to assist with checking guests in and out of our establishment. The position will be full time. The ideal candidate would be willing to cover all shifts (7-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and Night Audit). We are looking for someone who is reliable and has a passion for hospitality! The front desk agents’ responsibilities include but are not limited to:Responsibilities and Duties

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assists guests and owners in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up, as necessary.
  • Knows all essential aspects of our hotel operations.
  • Registers guests and manages the rooming chart.
  • Collects payments from customers, ensures daily settlements are balanced.
  • Monitors lobby and check-in activity.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
  • Facilitates correspondence with guests.
  • Works collaboratively with any associates and resources.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette and listening abilities.
  • Experience in Opera is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work varying and extended shifts.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Attention to detail to ensure an error-free work environment.
  • Effective organization and time-management skills to prioritize and complete tasks on time.
  • One year hospitality experience would be considered an asset but willing train for the right candidate.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $15.00-$17.00 per hourAdditional pay:

Experience:
  • Hotel & Accommodations Guest Services Staff: 1 year (preferred)
  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)
