Job Description

Material Handler / LabourerWage: $ 19.00 - $ 23.00Every day the team at Aspen Custom Trailers takes on some of the biggest heavy haul design and manufacturing challenges in North America. What may appear as “mission impossible” to some customers and manufacturers are precisely the challenges that Aspen’s team likes best.This growing business looks for people with energy, drive and passion to contribute to the team.We have been doing this for the past 40 years and have survived in some of the toughest times, keeping our workforce going.Responsibilities

  • Control all material in and out of the stock room and inside the warehouse facility
  • Contribute to keeping the shop clean and organized
  • Identify and place material in the proper locations
  • Read and understand work orders/travelers
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Forklift certification required (Experience may be considered but you must certify)
  • Computer literate is an asset as there is some data entry work
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and ability to keep yourself busy
Working Conditions
  • 99% working indoors in a temperature controlled well maintained facility.
Physical Requirements
  • Physically fit with maximum 50 lbs (overhead crane use over 50 lbs - fitness test required)
  • Standing on your feet for a long period of time
  • Sitting, bending, crouching
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
Shift Availability
  • Afternoons (Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m.-2:30 a.m.)
  • Overtime available, ability to work longer hours when needed
