  • Assist in retail customer purchases
  • Knowledge of the location of all parts and some knowledge of uses and installation techniques
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient and timely processing of parts orders within company guidelines, and by checking parts availability
  • Verify prices and enter sales into the computer
  • Work with technicians to provide them parts and record parts against work orders
  • Will assist in cycle counts and physical inventory counts
  • Other Duties as required by the parts manager
Education
  • High school or equivalency
  • Knowledge of product and mechanical/electrical parts
  • Experience in the automotive or RV dealership industry will be considered an asset
  • Willing to take regular WHMIS, First Aid and other occupational training as provided by the company.
Skills
  • Good customer service abilities are essential
  • Good telephone skills
  • Basic computer skills

  • Able to take direction and see a job through with limited supervision
  • The ability to work independently and as a team member
Work Environment:· The Parts CounterPerson/Parts Advisor staff will work in the parts store.· They may be required to stand for long periods of time when dealing with customers· They may be required to lift up to 20 kgs on occasion· They will be required to work the occasional weekend, especially during the busy season of April through September.Reports to:The parts counter staff report directly to the Parts ManagerJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:
