  • Operates fork lift to unload pallets and heavier materials.
  • Compare received parts with pack slip, and purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment and receive into ERP.
  • Prepares shipment to include boxing materials, and labeling with appropriate shipping information; complete appropriate paperwork for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Inspect deliveries visually for damage and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Requisition shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Process daily UPS incoming / outgoing packages and LTL freight.
  • Work in inventory control, order picking, clerical or additional duties as required.
QualificationsRequirements
  • Ability to work well under ever-changing priorities and situations.
. Must be a well organized, detailed individual
  • Above average computer knowledge/experience (word, excel). Quick books experience is an asset
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Able to interpret written and verbal instructions.
  • Have a passion for accurate, high quality workmanship and be a fast learner.
  • Demonstrate an ability to take initiative and contribute to process improvement.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. (from floor to shoulder level) required.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Valid drivers license & clean driving record.
Education and Experience
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of shipping and receiving experience an asset
  • International shipping an asset
  • Knowledge of export compliance a plus.
