Job Description

Our team provides valued services to the business by ensuring safe and reliable operational environment and ensuring that warehouse activities are performed in accordance with global standards.Take ownership for our product lineAs a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you are to execute standard processes and procedures for warehouse and yard activities. These include receiving, storage, yard management, preservation, accuracy, and their delivery to internal and external customers.As a Warehouse and Yard Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing inbound deliveries of materials from suppliers, plant, and field locations to verify quantities and stock levels.
  • Ensuring receipt of completed products and assemblies from in-house production to document and prepare for delivery.
  • Picking materials, components, and end products to be delivered to production or for shipping.
  • Preparing component kits for production, orders, and supplier subcontract parts to ensure correct delivery of requirements.
  • Performing cycle counts of stock to ensure accurate cleanup and maintained inventory.
  • Coordinating with external vendor, as required, including crating company, truck drivers on deliveries, etc.
  • Receiving inspection on BH components and/or customer owned material as per BH procedure.
  • Reviewing supplier quality package, material test reports and upload supplier documents in system.
  • Supporting shop operations and willing to learn machines, equipment including tooling setup on machine.
  • Willing to learn lathe operations (e.g. skimming, copper roller, etc.).
  • Supporting shop activities and perform other tasks as assigned by Shop Supervisor.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • High school diploma or 2+ year experience.
  • Be able to operate over head cranes, forklifts, combilift, and other material moving equipment to load and unload freight.
  • Have the ability to work inside or outside during seasonal weather conditions.
  • Have basic understanding in multiple software systems (i.e. Outlook and Microsoft Office).
  • Have the ability to learn SAP and perform the system transactions needed for the position.
  • Be able to comply with the companys safety requirements, including performing mask fit test, hearing test, etc
