  • Performing all Maintenance tasks of guest rooms and employee rooms
  • Performing minor general handyperson repair duties.
  • Safe Use of power tools.
  • Perform Repair/inspections of Mechanical Equipment
  • Attend Daily Meetings/Toolbox talks
  • Working from heights using ladders.
  • Large camp facility. Lots of walking.
  • Reporting maintenance and repairs as required on all areas of the camp while inspections are done.
  • Ensuring that the Maintenance Areas are always left clean and organized.
  • Ensure all Maintenance Consumables are stocked, stored, and organized
  • Loading and unloading of equipment. Heavy lifting.
  • Stocking shelves and carts with Tools and supplies.
  • Use of Tablet to perform Maintenance duties and inspections
  • Performing Site Pre work inspections.
  • Escorting of trucks
  • Ensure health and safety regulations and quality standards are maintained
  • 14 on/14 off Rotation.
  • Day Shift and Night Shift rotation.
  • 12 hr work shift
  • Camp Based Position
  • Read and understand Equipment manuals and part schematics.
Qualifications
  • High School Certificate or Equivalent Education required
  • WHMIS
  • Technical Aptitude (Use of Computers)
  • Ability To read and understand Equipment manuals and part schematics.
  • Maintenance experience in Food Service Industry/customer-focused hospitality environment or equivalent and asset.
  • Ability to stand for a long period of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to take Direction and Work alone.
  • Problem solver
  • Safety culture mindset.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Fluent and literate in the English language.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with others; and
