Job Description

Job Summary:You are an experienced Journeyperson Ironworker on industrial construction projects. You will be an integral part of the Ledcor team working on our BHP Headframe project. For you, safety and quality are a priority and you are proud of your work at the end of each day.Join the Ledcor team in Leroy Saskatchewan today!Essential Responsibilities:

  • Stick build steel erection for structural steel building and structural steel panelization, modular builds, mod placement and EAU assembly
  • Bolt up and impacting
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
  • Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
  • Heavy lift, rigging and setting of building modules
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Ensures that work is completed during regular hours
Qualifications:
  • Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority
  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • OSSA Regional with CSTS/BSO or CSO, Fall Protection
  • Elevated Work Platform and Confined Space are an asset
  • Must have basic Ironworker tools
  • Criminal Background check (exceptions provided on a case-by case- basis)
Work Conditions:
  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day
  • Travel/flight allowance for provided for non-local residents
  • Private Camp based accommodation
  • Benefits provided by CLAC
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Project end date: September 2024
