After successfully completing the Definition Phase Study for the project, the HBJV is currently carrying out the Detailed Engineering Phase for the Processing, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) and Mining Areas of the 4.5 Mtpa Stage 1 Potash Mine. With a published TIC of US $5.3-5.7 Billion this will represent one of the largest projects and private investments in Canada. The HBJV will use a hybrid of best-in-class new developing technologies and systems as well as the proven HBJV suite of tools to execute this exciting projectThe Superintendent Handover will work closely with the Lead Transition, the Field Engineering team, and all other Transition team Superintendents. They will be responsible for developing the handover framework for all work packages, starting with support on CG1001 (especially pre-mobilization). They are responsible to transition all areas, tools, equipment, buildings, and other owner assets to the next contractor. They will also manage the critical scope intricacies interfaces between the exiting and entering contractors to ensure these can be optimized. They will work closely with N3SR leadership, review all TCCC packages, acquire lessons learned, and align with Mining Team leadership to ensure all handover requirements and transfer of all materials and infrastructure are met for all packages, including as-built requirements.
