*MIDWIFERY OFFICE ASSISTANT (MOA)* CHINOOK MIDWIVES INC. 1274 3 Ave, S. Lethbridge, AB *Overview of the position: * Our office Assistant is usually the first person with whom clients will interact – they are the “face” of the practice. The first impression that the client receives through interacting with the front desk staff often has the greatest effect on the client’s overall impression of the practice. One of the goals of Chinook Midwives is to make clients feel welcome. The MOA must be a friendly and compassionate person. Great organizational skills are also essential to handle the wide variety of tasks that the MOA performs. *Job Title and Description* The duties the Employee will be expected to perform include the following: ✓ Greet clients ✓ Maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere, ✓ Process new clients administratively, ✓ Prepare rooms, prepare charts, ✓ Upload files, ✓ Book appointments, ✓ Manage reception area and general flow of clinic appointments ✓ Provide clerical support to Midwives, ✓ Ensure proper flow of clinic procedure, ✓ Draft and format relevant documents, ✓ File ✓ Become familiar with the use of Acuro ✓ Manage correspondence by answering and processing emails, faxes, lab and ultrasound reports, scans, mail, phone, ✓ Provide support as needed, ✓ Maintain social media profiles, ✓ Maintain stock lists, order office and clinical supplies, ✓ Conduct sales and accurate day-end and month -end reconciliation, ✓ Light cleaning duties on clinic days, full cleaning duties weekly outside of clinic hours. *Experience: * -A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Office Assistant(preferred). *Job Types: * Part-time *Salary: * $15.00 - $18.00 per hour​ Schedule: * 8 hour shift * * Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Lethbridge, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application deadline: Expected start date:Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 20-25 per weekSalary: $15.00-$18.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
