Job Description

Your Opportunity:Reporting to the CRH Laboratory Manager, under the direction of the Pre-Analytics Clinical Supervisor, the Administrative Support II will require administrative or specialized skills, to support procedures, practices, and initiatives within a department or program. APL is hiring an Administrative Support II – Data Entry Clerk casual position, to assist with the COVID19 response performing data entry. As a Data Entry Clerk your primary responsibility will be to data enter requisitions and print/label specimens. You may also be assigned other related administrative tasks.Description:As an Administrative Support II, you will require administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.Additional Required Qualifications:General computer skills and proficiency with alpha numerical data entry. Ability to learn new programs with attention to detail. Consistently demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. Candidate must be well organized and flexible. Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a group or team setting. Reliable and good attendance record required. Actively promotes and participates in Alberta Health Services Code of Conduct and APL Values of Kindness, Innovation, Inclusion, Agility and Accuracy.Preferred Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education (ex. Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant).
