LaPrairie Works Inc. is a diversified and growing highway maintenance, construction, and transportation specialist. We come with over 40 years of operating experience in Western Canada. We provide expertise in highway and bridge maintenance, slope stabilization, and environmental remediation. We are proud to be formally recognized with industry and ministerial awards for innovation and environmental stewardship, while managing long-term contracts within both provincial and federal jurisdictions.We are looking to expand our highway maintenance operations areas and are preparing a response to an RFP announced by the Provincial Government for a highway maintenance contract in Southern Alberta.As such, LaPrairie Works is looking for applications to fill the role of Foreman, Highway Maintenance, Southern Alberta. The successful candidate will be hired should LaPrairie Works be successful in procuring the contract for this area.Under the direction of the Superintendent – Operations, the Foreman, Highway Maintenance Operations will oversee staff and the proper allocation of resources to ensure work is being performed according to established standards. The Foreman, Highway Maintenance Operations, must possess a valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license, the ability to understand and implement provincial highway maintenance specifications and with five (5) or more years of experience in the Highway Maintenance, Public Works, and/or Highway Construction industries.Key responsibilities include:
