Health Care Aide - Lethbridge and Surrounding AreaAIS-Dept. (WCB Clients)We are currently hiring for a client in Lethbridge:Monday to Friday days and evenings and every other weekend - 25 hours a week.Travel around Lethbridge and to rural communities in the surrounding area.Travel outside of city limits of Lethbridge is paid travel time and mileage both ways.CBI Health is Canada’s leading community healthcare provider, and our passionate team is at the heart of what we do. Join the new CBI Health and find where your better begins.About this opportunityBased out of CBI Health Group in Red Deer, you will provide quality, patient-centred care to our clients. As a Health Care Aide, you will help patients with the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation and light household duties.Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day:

  • Provide personal care to patients proactively and with compassion
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing and bathing
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Help with patient mobility and transfers
  • Perform light household duties, such as cleaning, laundry and washing dishes
What you need to be successful
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 3 months
  • Evidence of a negative TB test within the last 12 months and an up-to-date Immunization Record
  • Availability to work days, evenings and must be available every other weekend
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous community experience is an asset
