Job Description

Matrix is hiring Production Workers (Manufacturing) for an exciting job in Lethbridge, AB. The production worker is responsible for handling production equipment, assembling/bagging/ inspecting product, and monitoring product shipment. The pay range is $19-$20/ hr, depending on experience.Benefits:

  • On-site parking.
  • Overtime pay.
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift.
  • Evenings.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Morning shift.
  • Night shift.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintained clean workspaces and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
  • Filled orders and checked products to ensure accuracy and quality according to food safety regulations.
  • Calibrate equipment for daily use and reported malfunctions to team leaders, or supervisors.
  • Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
  • Operate production equipment.
  • Store products and materials.
  • Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during the shift.
  • Report on defective products or machinery.
  • Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials.
  • Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards from chemicals and fragile products.
  • Ensure shipping procedures are timely.
  • Transfer equipment manually.
  • Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines.
  • Other duties required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a production worker or similar role in a warehouse.
  • Good understanding of how production equipment works.
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided).
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manually.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
