Job Description

Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Purchaser for our Lethbridge location. The successful candidate should excel in attention to detail, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.Job Title: PurchaserLocation: 511 41st Street North, Lethbridge, ABJob purpose: This position’s primary responsibilities are to purchase stock and maintain inventory levels.Key Result Areas

  • Build meaningful, useful relationships with suppliers
  • Inventory levels are maintained well, and within budgets
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Working within budgets, maintain inventory levels by purchasing and transferring in
  • Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards
  • Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
  • Manage assembly orders and transfer orders
