This includes inspecting merchandise prior to loading and delivery, preparing merchandise and loads for delivery, following planned delivery routes, verifying invoices against items loaded, and assisting customer installations or returns.Your role:

• Unloading a variety of truck types (manually lifting, pallet jacks and/or with forklift) with the Receiving Team.
• Pulling delivery orders, working with sales staff to ensure orders are made correctly.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure the right product is being loaded onto trucks, and that customers expectations are managed.
• Calling customers to call an confirm deliveries and/or re-schedule dates.
• Maintaining appliance warehouse, in-stock appliances are correct in inventory and properly labelled.
• Machine operation as required
• Assisting with the cleanliness and garbage of the Receiving warehouse with the Receiving team.
• Providing customer service by greeting customers, and assisting customers in locating, selecting and loading merchandise in a professional manner.
• Complete all other duties as assigned

The qualifications we are looking for:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• At least 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
• At least 6 months of experience performing retail customer service
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily without assistance; may lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
