ResponsibilitiesLethbridge College is seeking a Social Media Coordinator. Ideally the incumbent is a recent graduate from Digital Communications and Media (DCM), Multimedia Production, Business Administration, Marketing from Lethbridge College or another post-secondary institution. This is a one year contract position.Reporting to the Social Media Strategist, the Social Media Coordinator is focused on planning, creation, management and analysis of content for social media channels to align with institutional social media strategy – specifically maximizing student engagement and growth of social channels, conversion and retention as well as overall reputation building of Lethbridge College.This role shares responsibility in managing official social media accounts, creating content that is relevant to future students and implementing strategies that grow, engage, retain, and ultimately, generate leads. Additionally, the Social Media Coordinator works closely with the Social Media Strategist and other Marketing and Communications team members to develop and deploy engagement to increase website traffic, convert that traffic into qualified leads, and help nurture those prospects into Lethbridge College applicants.Land AcknowledgementLocated on the traditional lands of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Lethbridge College is committed to honouring the land from a place of knowing.
