Job Description

Your Opportunity:Description:The Site Services Supervisor, at the Chinook Regional Hospital, applies business and management skills to improve efficiency and accomplish operational objectives within their own team. Focuses management skills on controlling and directing the daily business and operational activities required to support patient care teams with the resources they need. The Supervisor is responsible for the timely and efficient coordination of the delivery of supply management services including area inventory controls – both asset inventories & expensed inventories, receiving of equipment, administration of on-site mailrooms, consumables and other goods, management of unit producing front line staffing resources for the effective distribution of medical consumables throughout the assigned health care supply chain. Responsible for an assigned geographical or service area with accountability for all Alberta Health Services programs within. Has strong focus on customer service being the conduit for service requirements by clinical end users and customers of all verticals within Contracting Procurement and Supply Management.

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma as a minimum. Six to ten years of supply management experience required with preference given to those with previous work experience in healthcare. Computer training and skill in Microsoft Office Software inclusive of Outlook, Word and Excel. Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle R12 and Meditech application related to Supply Management Proven ability to lead and manage a large diverse and dispersed team of staff. Manages projects or programs with narrow scope, resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.Additional Required Qualifications:The individual needs to be self-motivated, organized with the ability to plan and execute multiple tasks and competing priorities. Analyze complex issues and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Committed to exemplary customer service to end users. Effective communicator; written and verbal. Excellent track record of meeting budgetary/financial objectives. Facilitates training and development of an appropriate skills base within team(s).
