Our cab drivers provide a high level of customer service while bringing customers to their chosen destinations in a timely manner. Drivers are responsible for picking up customers and taking them to their drop-off locations via the most efficient route possible. Cab drivers are expected to provide excellent customer service throughout customers’ rides, for customer service is a main reason why people choose to hail one of our cabs rather than a ride-sharing driver.Responsibilities: · Picking up customers at requested times and locations· Picking up customers trying to hail a ride when no one is in the cab· Responding to dispatchers’ requests for cabs· Driving customers to their destinations via the shortest/quickest route· Adjusting routes for daily traffic patterns, ongoing construction, and known accidents· Operating the cab meter for each ride and collecting payment· Assisting customers with their bags and luggage· Determining customer interest in conversation and engaging them appropriately· Keeping the cab’s exterior and interior clean and presentable· Refilling the fuel tank and having the cab serviced when necessary· Reporting any accidents or other incidents according to company protocol· Maintaining accurate driving logsNecessary Skills & Qualifications: · Currently licensed to drive a taxi cab in the Alberta Province· Clean driving record· Professional appearance· Good communication skills· Commitment to providing excellent customer service· Ability to lift suitcases and other luggage· Detailed knowledge of local geography and roadways· Flexible availability, including nights and weekends· Willingness to pass a drug screening and background checkPreferred Skills & Qualifications: · Class 1, 2 or 4 License· 5+ years of experience driving a taxi cab· Willingness to work major holidays and events· Bilingual in English and another languageJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentSalary: $48,000.00-$72,000.00 per yearBenefits:
