Safety Coordinator:Neu-Lite Electric Inc is seeking a Construction Safety Facilitator for our Lethbridge location. We are a busy, well-structured, safety-conscious electrical contractor, and our company provides electrical repairs, maintenance, new home construction, commercial and industrial projects throughout Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. The successful candidate will work with company personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to maintain a positive safe work environment. Some travel may be involved depending on project locations.Key responsibilities include:• Maintaining our COR, ISNetworld, Contractor Check, and other certifications• Administering orientationsamp; maintaining training records and compliance• Improving, implementing, and monitoring of our company safety program• Conducting site inspections, attending safety meetings, committee meetings, etc• Maintainamp; analyze safety recordsamp; field collaboration using SiteDocs• WCB Administration, including managing claims, evaluating modified duties, investigating incidents, and managing WCB claims• Provide WHMIS training• Risk mitigation• Meet regularly with client safety personnel• Attend and often lead meetings• Assist with fleet management• Perform internal COR audits, and assist with external auditsRequirements:• Valid Class 5 driver’s license• Valid Construction Safety Officer Certificate (preferred)• Occupational First Aid Level Two or Three preferred or willing to take the course• Exceptional Communication skills, writing skills (English), people skills,amp; technical skills.• Be self-directed and motivated to maintainamp; improve our program• Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other programs related to your field• Knowledge of the construction industry, specifically the electrical trade and electrical safety, would be an assetPlease send a resume with a cover letter to employment@neu-lite.com and include “Safety Coordinator†in the subject field.
