The Ross family takes pride in providing compassionate, quality patient care.Position SummaryThe Nutrition Services Department is currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Food Service Assistant to join their team.Effective date: January 10, 2022Ending on or before: July 10, 2022Essential Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Ability to operate cash register, count money and make change accurately
  • Pleasant manner and communication with all levels of staff and the public
  • Assist with each phase of the dishwashing procedure
  • Responsible for safe and sanitary handling of food, supplies and equipment
  • Work on the patient meal belt line
  • Performs patient meal tray delivery
  • Performs pot washing, equipment and departmental cleaning and sanitary procedures
  • Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis, including be able to stand for long periods of time and lift moderate weight; push/pull lowerators and cart
Hours Of WorkMust be available to work 8 and 4 hour shifts (days/evenings), including weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays.
